With the AC Control Air for Toshiba, you can integrate Toshiba air conditioning systems easily, quickly and seamlessly into your Loxone installation. Air conditioning systems provide comfort even on hot days. However, when controlled manually, they often become real energy guzzlers. With the AC Control Air, you can integrate air conditioning systems easily, quickly and seamlessly into your Loxone home & building automation. In conjunction with a photovoltaic system and/or spot price, you can cool or heat cost-effectively thanks to Loxone's energy management.
Your air conditioning unit: Fit for §14a EnWG
With the AC Control Air you are opting for maximum flexibility in relation to the legislator. Germany shows what this means with its Section 14a of the Energy Industry Act. Overnight, operators of new air conditioning units from January 1, 2024 and existing air conditioning units from January 1, 2029 were obliged to be grid-controllable. This can often only be achieved with a hard shutdown using a relay contact.
With our hardware & software solution we enable the modulating “dimming” of the AC unit within the specified limits by reducing the fan level and target temperature.
