The Install 10 installation housing is used where the Install Speaker 10 must be installed in a closed housing, for example in an acoustic ceiling. If the ceiling is suspended and closed and does not allow air to circulate, you do not need an installation housing. Compatible products for the installation housing are Install Speaker 10 Master, Client and Passive.

The Install 10 Mounting Enclosure is used where an Install Speaker 10 must be installed in a closed cavity, such as within an acoustic ceiling.

In the case of a suspended, closed ceiling that does not allow air exchange, no mounting enclosure is required.

The Install Sub 10 Master and Install Sub 10 Client are not suitable for installation in the mounting enclosure.

Please note that the use of enclosures generally results in reduced bass performance. Therefore, depending on the application, combining them with subwoofers may be advisable.
