Which Loxone Config & App version is required to operate the Audioserver?
The Audioserver is supported from Loxone Config & App Version 11.1 or higher - with the software being available free of charge.
Which power supply unit is suitable for operating the Audioserver?
All of the 24VDC power supply units offered by Loxone are suitable for the Audioserver. Please note that the power consumption of the Audioserver may vary depending on the number of amplifier outputs used. We recommend the Power Supply & Backup for the Loxone peripherals, field components, lighting and audio.
Can the Audioserver and the stereo extensions be operated in the same distribution board as the Miniserver and the other distribution components?
Yes, the Audioserver is designed for mounting on a DIN rail. To ensure optimum heat dissipation, the Audioserver must be installed upright in the distribution board. In addition, the audio components should be positioned in the upper area of the distribution board. To avoid interference on the loudspeaker cables, we recommend laying them separately from other cables.
